Terms and Conditions
The terms you agree to when you use peptech.us or buy from us. The most important one is the first: nothing sold here may be administered to humans or animals.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of peptech.us (the “Website”) and the purchase of products from PepTech (“PepTech,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE OR PLACING AN ORDER.
By accessing the Website, creating an account, completing a research-use certification, submitting an order, or purchasing any product from PepTech, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website or purchase products from PepTech.
1. Research use only
PepTech supplies chemical and peptide materials solely for legitimate in-vitro, analytical, and laboratory research. Work with cells, tissues, and other biological samples in vitro falls within this purpose.
ALL PRODUCTS SOLD BY PEPTECH ARE FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY (“RUO”). THEY MUST NOT BE ADMINISTERED TO HUMANS OR ANIMALS, AND ARE NOT FOR HUMAN OR VETERINARY CONSUMPTION OR USE.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, products sold by PepTech are:
Not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices;
Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition;
Not intended to affect the structure or function of the human or animal body;
Not for administration to humans or animals for any purpose, including research;
Not intended for ingestion, injection, inhalation, implantation, topical application to humans or animals, or any other form of administration;
Not intended for compounding into products intended for human or veterinary use;
Not intended for household, personal, recreational, bodybuilding, wellness, weight-management, anti-aging, or self-experimentation purposes; and
Not represented as safe or effective for any clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or veterinary application.
Information appearing on the Website is provided solely for legitimate research and product-identification purposes.
Nothing on the Website constitutes medical advice, veterinary advice, prescribing information, dosage guidance, administration guidance, treatment recommendations, or instructions for human or animal use.
2. Qualified purchasers and research eligibility
PepTech does not intend to make research materials available to individuals seeking products for personal, household, recreational, therapeutic, or other non-research purposes.
Purchases are restricted to customers who can demonstrate a legitimate research purpose and who are authorized to purchase research materials on behalf of an eligible research organization or activity.
Eligible purchasers may include, as applicable:
Academic or institutional research laboratories;
Universities and educational research programs;
Biotechnology and life-science companies;
Contract research organizations;
Analytical laboratories;
Chemical and pharmaceutical research organizations;
Qualified independent research organizations; and
Other legitimate businesses or institutions conducting bona fide in-vitro, analytical, or laboratory research.
The individual placing an order must be at least 21 years old, have legal capacity to enter into contracts, and have authority to make the purchase on behalf of the organization identified during verification.
A consumer's desire to conduct personal experimentation does not constitute a qualifying research purpose.
3. Researcher verification
PepTech reserves the right to verify the identity, organization, qualifications, research purpose, and authority of any prospective purchaser before allowing an order to be completed or fulfilled.
Verification may include requesting or reviewing information such as:
Purchaser name and contact information;
Organization or institution name;
Position, department, or professional role;
Institutional or business email address;
Organization website;
Business or laboratory address;
Nature of the organization's research activity;
Intended general research application;
Business registration or other organizational information when appropriate; and
Any additional information reasonably necessary to confirm legitimate research use.
Submission of information does not guarantee approval.
PepTech may approve, reject, suspend, or revoke research purchasing privileges at its discretion when reasonably necessary to protect regulatory compliance, payment security, product integrity, or the Research Use Only restrictions contained in these Terms.
PepTech may request additional verification at any time, including after an account has previously been approved.
4. Mandatory research-use certification
By creating or maintaining purchasing privileges and each time you submit an order, you represent, warrant, acknowledge, and certify that:
“I certify that I am purchasing these materials on behalf of a legitimate laboratory, research institution, business, or other qualified research organization and that the materials will be used solely for legitimate in-vitro, analytical, or laboratory research and will not be administered to humans or animals. I understand that PepTech products are Research Use Only and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, diagnosis, treatment, prevention of disease, compounding, clinical or therapeutic use, personal experimentation, or any other non-research purpose. I am authorized to purchase these materials, and I agree not to use, transfer, resell, or provide them for any prohibited purpose.”
PepTech may retain records of this certification, including the account associated with it, date and time, organization information, order details, electronic acceptance, and related verification information.
False certifications may result in immediate cancellation of orders, suspension or termination of purchasing privileges, and refusal of future transactions.
5. Strictly prohibited uses
You may not purchase, possess, use, market, transfer, distribute, or resell a PepTech product for:
Human use
This includes, without limitation:
Injection;
Ingestion;
Oral administration;
Nasal administration;
Topical administration;
Implantation;
Self-experimentation;
Administration to another person;
Bodybuilding or athletic-performance purposes;
Weight-loss or weight-management purposes;
Cosmetic or anti-aging purposes;
Medical or wellness purposes; or
Any other application involving the human body.
Animal use
Products may not be administered to animals for any purpose. This includes veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prevention, supplementation, and performance enhancement, and it includes in-vivo animal research. PepTech does not supply material for in-vivo studies.
This restriction does not prevent in-vitro laboratory work with cells, tissues, or other biological samples, where that work is lawful and meets any institutional requirements that apply to it.
Compounding or drug preparation
Products may not be:
Compounded into a medication;
Prepared for clinical administration;
Manufactured into a finished drug product;
Repurposed for therapeutic administration;
Dispensed pursuant to a prescription; or
Supplied to another person for any of these purposes.
Consumer resale
Products may not be resold or redistributed to consumers or other persons for personal, therapeutic, recreational, wellness, or non-research purposes.
Commercial redistribution to another qualified research organization requires PepTech's prior written authorization and may be subject to additional verification requirements.
6. No medical or veterinary advice
PepTech is a research-material supplier.
Neither PepTech nor its Website provides medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, nutritional, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice.
No information on the Website should be interpreted as recommending:
A dosage;
A treatment protocol;
A route of administration;
Reconstitution for administration to humans or animals;
Frequency of administration;
Clinical use;
Therapeutic benefits; or
Any other human or veterinary application.
Customers must not rely on PepTech, its Website, its employees, its contractors, or its customer-support communications for medical or veterinary guidance.
Questions involving medical treatment or medication should be directed to an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.
7. Product classification and regulatory status
Products identified as Research Use Only are sold as research materials and not as approved finished pharmaceutical products.
Unless specifically and accurately stated otherwise, PepTech does not represent that its RUO products:
Have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) for human or veterinary use;
Are approved drugs;
Are approved dietary supplements;
Are sterile pharmaceutical preparations;
Are compounded medications;
Meet specifications required for clinical administration;
Are manufactured for human consumption;
Are suitable for diagnosis or treatment; or
Are approved by any governmental authority for therapeutic use.
The presence of a compound in scientific literature, clinical research, pharmaceutical development, or an approved drug does not change the RUO designation of a product sold by PepTech.
Customers are responsible for understanding the regulatory status applicable to their research and jurisdiction.
8. Customer responsibility for compliance
Customers are solely responsible for determining whether the acquisition, possession, importation, storage, handling, transfer, use, and disposal of a product is lawful and appropriate for their research activities.
Customers must comply with all applicable:
Federal laws;
State laws;
Local laws;
Institutional requirements;
Laboratory safety procedures;
Environmental requirements;
Import and export controls; and
Research protocols.
PepTech's acceptance of an order does not constitute legal advice or confirmation that the purchaser's intended activity is lawful.
9. Product information
PepTech makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product information, including product identity, nominal quantity, lot information, and available analytical documentation. Storage specifications are stated only where supplier or laboratory documentation supports them; for a product's storage requirements, contact PepTech before purchase.
Product photographs are illustrative unless expressly identified as photographs of the exact unit being purchased.
Minor variations in packaging, labeling, appearance, or presentation may occur without changing the identity of the ordered product.
Research customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their particular experimental design.
PepTech does not guarantee that a product is suitable for any particular experimental method unless expressly agreed in writing.
10. Certificates of analysis and testing
Where available, PepTech may provide Certificates of Analysis (“COAs”), analytical reports, laboratory accession numbers, or other testing information relating to specific products or lots.
A COA reflects only:
The sample tested;
The tests performed;
The analytical methods used;
The conditions existing at the time of testing; and
The conclusions reported by the applicable laboratory.
Unless a certificate states otherwise, the COAs published on the Website were commissioned by PepTech from an independent third-party laboratory and name PepTech as the client. A report provided by a supplier, if one is published, will be identified as a supplier report.
A COA reports on the samples submitted from one lot, not on every vial in that lot. Identity, chromatographic purity, and net content are separate results; a purity figure measured by HPLC does not by itself establish identity, exact quantity, or the absence of all contaminants.
A COA does not represent FDA approval, approval for human use, clinical-grade status, therapeutic suitability, sterility, or fitness for medical administration.
Third-party laboratory names, methods, accreditations, certifications, or credentials will be described only to the extent reasonably supported by available documentation.
Customers should review the applicable lot documentation before using a product in research.
PepTech may withhold a product from sale or fulfillment when required testing or documentation has not been completed to PepTech's applicable release requirements.
11. Orders
All orders constitute an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance by PepTech.
Receipt of an order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.
PepTech reserves the right to request additional information, verify research eligibility, limit quantities, reject an order, or cancel an order before fulfillment when reasonably necessary for:
Research-use compliance;
Regulatory compliance;
Fraud prevention;
Payment security;
Inventory availability;
Suspected misuse;
Suspected resale for prohibited purposes;
Incorrect pricing;
Shipping restrictions; or
Other legitimate business or compliance reasons.
If PepTech cancels an order after payment has been captured and the order has not been fulfilled, PepTech will refund the applicable canceled amount to the original payment method.
12. Pricing and currency
Unless otherwise clearly stated, prices displayed on peptech.us are expressed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Prices may change without notice before an order is submitted.
The price charged for an accepted order will be the amount displayed during checkout, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Applicable taxes, shipping fees, and other lawful charges will be disclosed before the customer completes payment where required.
13. Payments
PepTech may accept payment through third-party payment service providers.
By submitting payment information, you represent that:
The information is accurate;
You are authorized to use the selected payment method; and
The transaction is being made for a legitimate order permitted under these Terms.
Payment information may be securely processed by third-party payment processors subject to their own security and privacy practices.
PepTech does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers when payment information is processed directly by a compliant third-party payment provider.
Card payments are processed through our payment provider. The charge on your card or bank statement may appear under the business name PTech or the statement descriptor SQ *PTech associated with our Square payment provider and merchant account.
Customers should contact support@peptech.us if they do not recognize a charge or believe there is a billing error.
14. Fraud prevention and payment verification
PepTech may use automated and manual tools to identify suspected fraud, unauthorized payment activity, high-risk transactions, misuse, and policy violations.
An order may be delayed, canceled, or subjected to additional verification when information associated with the transaction creates a reasonable security or compliance concern.
PepTech may request identity, organization, billing, or payment verification before fulfillment.
PepTech will not knowingly process a transaction on behalf of an undisclosed third-party merchant or for a product that has not been accurately disclosed through PepTech's business operations.
15. Shipping and delivery
PepTech ships to addresses within the United States only. An order with a delivery address outside the United States cannot be fulfilled.
Available shipping methods, shipping charges, estimated delivery times, and eligible destinations are displayed on the Website, at checkout, and/or in PepTech's Shipping & Returns Policy.
Shipping estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless PepTech expressly states otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
PepTech is not responsible for delays caused by:
Carriers;
Weather;
Natural disasters;
Government action;
Incorrect customer-provided addresses;
Delivery restrictions;
Customs;
Events beyond PepTech's reasonable control; or
Additional verification reasonably required before shipment.
Tracking information will be provided when available.
PepTech may restrict shipments to jurisdictions where it determines that legal, regulatory, shipping, payment, or compliance requirements cannot reasonably be satisfied.
Unless PepTech expressly approves otherwise, products may only be shipped to the verified purchaser or verified organization associated with the approved research account.
16. Inspection upon delivery
Research customers should inspect packages promptly after delivery.
If an order arrives damaged, contains an incorrect product, is missing a product, or does not conform to the order or the product listing, the customer should contact support@peptech.us with the order number and, when reasonably requested, photographs of the packaging, shipping label, received materials, or damage.
PepTech asks to be told within 48 hours of documented delivery so that it can act while carrier claims are open and the evidence is fresh. The 48-hour window is a request for prompt notice, not a waiver: a later report will still be reviewed, although a delay can make it harder to establish what happened.
PepTech will investigate and, when the problem is verified, send a replacement of the affected items at no charge. If PepTech cannot supply a replacement, it will refund the affected items instead.
Shipping charges: a replacement ships free; a refund for a whole order that was affected includes the shipping charge paid; when only some items are affected, those items are replaced or refunded and the original shipping charge is not refunded.
Customers must not return material to PepTech. Damaged material should not be opened or used, and should be disposed of under the receiving laboratory's procedures once PepTech has closed the claim. PepTech will give instructions first if anything further is needed.
17. Returns
Returns and exchanges are not accepted, and products cannot be returned or restocked after shipment.
Once research materials leave PepTech's control, PepTech cannot independently verify how they were transported, stored, handled, or maintained.
This covers buyer's remorse, changed research plans, ordering the wrong product, and similar circumstances.
This does not remove the remedies in clause 16 - replacement, or a refund where no replacement can be supplied - for products that are damaged, incorrect, missing, or nonconforming, or any right that cannot legally be waived.
18. Cancellations
Customers may request cancellation of an order before the order has been fulfilled or transferred to the shipping carrier.
Cancellation requests should be sent promptly to support@peptech.us.
PepTech will make reasonable efforts to honor eligible cancellation requests.
Once an order has been fulfilled or transferred to the carrier, it generally cannot be canceled.
If a paid order is canceled before fulfillment, the full amount paid, including any shipping charge, will be refunded to the original payment method.
19. Refunds
Refunds are available for an order canceled before fulfillment under clause 18, an order PepTech cancels after payment under clause 11, a pricing or product error corrected before fulfillment under clause 30, and a verified problem under clause 16 for which no replacement can be supplied.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.
PepTech will initiate an approved refund within 2 business days of approving it or, for a canceled order, of the cancellation, and confirm by email when it has done so. Initiation is not the same as the refund appearing in the customer's account: that timing is set by the customer's bank, card issuer, payment network, or payment provider and is outside PepTech's control.
Shipping charges are refunded as set out in clauses 16 and 18.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer or payment rights provided by applicable law or card-network rules.
20. Billing questions and payment disputes
PepTech encourages customers to contact us promptly regarding any billing error, unauthorized charge, missing shipment, damaged shipment, or other transaction concern so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter. Contact support@peptech.us.
Nothing in this section prevents a cardholder from exercising legitimate dispute or chargeback rights available under applicable law or card-network rules.
Knowingly filing a false or fraudulent payment dispute may result in termination of purchasing privileges and any other remedies available under applicable law.
PepTech maintains transaction, verification, acceptance, fulfillment, tracking, and customer-service records as reasonably necessary to respond to legitimate payment inquiries and disputes.
21. Promotions and discount codes
Any promotion, discount, coupon, introductory offer, or other promotional program is subject to the specific terms displayed with that offer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
Promotions have no cash value;
Promotions cannot be sold or transferred;
Only one promotion may be applied to an order;
Promotions may be limited by date, customer, product, quantity, or other disclosed conditions;
Promotions cannot be applied retroactively;
Promotions may be discontinued before their advertised expiration only when permitted by law and the applicable promotional terms; and
Fraudulent or abusive use may result in cancellation.
Where specific promotional terms conflict with this section, the specific disclosed promotional terms control for that promotion.
22. Resale, transfer, and diversion
PepTech products may not be transferred, resold, or distributed in any manner designed to evade PepTech's research-purchaser controls.
Customers specifically agree not to:
Resell RUO products directly to consumers for personal use;
Market products as treatments, medications, supplements, or wellness products;
Provide products to persons known or reasonably suspected to intend administration to humans or animals;
Remove or alter RUO labeling to facilitate prohibited use;
Repackage a product as a therapeutic or consumer product; or
Make representations suggesting PepTech products are approved for administration to humans or animals.
PepTech may permanently terminate purchasing privileges if it reasonably believes a customer is diverting products into prohibited channels.
23. No circumvention
Customers may not attempt to defeat, circumvent, manipulate, or provide false information through:
Research-account verification;
Organization verification;
Geographic restrictions;
Purchase limits;
Payment screening;
Fraud controls;
RUO certifications;
Product restrictions; or
Any other compliance control maintained by PepTech.
PepTech may cancel orders and suspend accounts associated with attempted circumvention.
24. Export controls and sanctions
Customers must comply with applicable U.S. export-control, trade-control, customs, and economic-sanctions laws.
PepTech will not knowingly transact with persons, organizations, destinations, or jurisdictions where the transaction is prohibited by applicable law.
Customers may not use PepTech products or services to circumvent sanctions, export controls, customs requirements, or other legal restrictions.
Customers may not request that PepTech falsify product descriptions, values, destinations, consignee information, customs documentation, or the nature of a transaction.
PepTech may refuse any international or domestic transaction presenting legal, sanctions, export, or compliance concerns.
25. Product storage, handling, and laboratory safety
Research materials should be handled only by qualified personnel using appropriate laboratory facilities, personal protective equipment, institutional procedures, and scientifically appropriate safety practices.
Customers are responsible for:
Safe receipt;
Storage;
Laboratory handling;
Experimental use;
Containment;
Documentation; and
Lawful disposal.
PepTech does not provide preparation or handling instructions for administration to humans or animals.
Storage specifications are provided only where supplier or laboratory documentation supports them. Customers who need a product's storage requirements should contact PepTech before purchase.
Any technical information concerning laboratory handling is intended exclusively for qualified research personnel and must not be interpreted as instructions for use in humans or animals.
26. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its original content, branding, logos, design, text, graphics, photographs, software, and other materials are owned by or licensed to PepTech and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, modify, or commercially exploit PepTech's proprietary content without prior written permission except as otherwise permitted by law.
Third-party laboratory reports and other third-party materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
27. Acceptable use of the Website
You agree not to:
Use the Website for unlawful purposes;
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
Interfere with Website security;
Conduct payment-card testing;
Submit fraudulent transactions;
Scrape or misuse confidential account information;
Impersonate another person or organization;
Provide materially false purchaser-verification information;
Use the Website to facilitate administration to humans or animals; or
Assist another person in circumventing these Terms.
PepTech may restrict or terminate Website access for violations.
28. Privacy
Use of personal information is governed by PepTech's Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Information collected may include information necessary to:
Process transactions;
Verify purchaser identity and research eligibility;
Prevent fraud;
Fulfill orders;
Provide customer support;
Maintain required business records; and
Comply with applicable legal and payment-processing obligations.
Customers should review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information.
29. Third-party services
The Website may rely on third parties for services including payments, hosting, analytics, shipping, fraud prevention, communications, or laboratory testing.
PepTech is not responsible for third-party systems or websites that it does not control, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Links to third-party websites do not constitute an endorsement of every statement, product, or service offered by the third party.
30. Availability and Website errors
PepTech attempts to maintain accurate and current Website information but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every typographical, pricing, technical, or inventory error will be prevented.
PepTech may correct errors and update Website information.
If a material pricing or product error affects an order before fulfillment, PepTech may cancel the affected item and refund the corresponding amount rather than fulfill an order based on an obvious error.
31. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE AND RESEARCH PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS EXCEPT FOR ANY EXPRESS SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED IN WRITING.
PEPTECH DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
PEPTECH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION THAT AN RUO PRODUCT IS SAFE, EFFECTIVE, APPROPRIATE, OR SUITABLE FOR ADMINISTRATION TO HUMANS OR ANIMALS.
Nothing in this section excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
32. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PEPTECH AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE MISUSE OF A RESEARCH PRODUCT, INCLUDING ADMINISTRATION TO HUMANS OR ANIMALS IN VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS.
PEPTECH WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM:
Administration to humans or animals;
Improper laboratory handling;
Improper storage;
Unauthorized resale or transfer;
Use outside applicable research protocols;
Customer violation of applicable law; or
Reliance on Website content as medical or veterinary advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PepTech's aggregate liability arising from an individual order will not exceed the amount actually paid to PepTech for the product giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
33. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PepTech, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from:
Your violation of these Terms;
Your unlawful use of a product;
Administration of an RUO product to a human or an animal;
Unauthorized resale or redistribution;
Your violation of another person's rights; or
Materially false information supplied during purchaser verification.
This section does not require indemnification for liability caused solely by PepTech's own unlawful conduct where such indemnification is prohibited by law.
34. Suspension and termination
PepTech may suspend or terminate an account or purchasing privileges when it reasonably determines that a customer:
Violated these Terms;
Made a false research-use certification;
Provided false verification information;
Attempted to purchase for administration to humans or animals;
Diverted products for consumer use;
Engaged in fraud;
Created unacceptable legal or payment risk; or
Otherwise used the Website or products inconsistently with legitimate research purposes.
Termination does not eliminate obligations arising from transactions completed before termination.
35. Cooperation with lawful requests
PepTech may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with valid legal process, regulatory obligations, applicable law, fraud investigations, payment-network requirements, or the protection of PepTech's legal rights.
PepTech will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
36. Force majeure
PepTech will not be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, transportation interruption, labor disruption, government action, public emergency, carrier interruption, utility failure, cybersecurity incident, or supply-chain disruption.
This section does not affect refund or other rights that cannot legally be waived.
37. Governing law
These Terms and transactions with PepTech will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law applies.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, legal proceedings relating to these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

38. Severability
